亲爱的89大区会员们,

 

Today, I'm both humbled and grateful to officially step into the role of District 89 District Director.

 

今天，我怀着谦卑与感恩的心，正式接任89大区总监一职。

 

As a Toastmaster, I understand that this responsibility is not just an honor but a commitment—a commitment to stand alongside every member as we fulfill our mission: "We empower individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders."

 

作为Toastmasters的一员，我深知这份职责不仅是荣誉，更是承诺——承诺与每一位伙伴并肩同行，共同实践“透过分会赋能个人变成更高效的沟通者和领导者”的使命。

 

Over the years, District 89 has built a solid foundation through the collective efforts of past directors and dedicated teams. We have witnessed countless members step from the speaking podium onto life’s stage, using their voices to inspire and their leadership to unite. I extend my deepest appreciation to the past directors and all the officers—your passion and professionalism have set a shining example for us all.

 

过去几年，89大区在前任大区总监与团队的共同努力下，建立了稳健的根基。我们见证了无数会员从演讲台走向人生舞台，用演讲力影响他人，用领导力凝聚团队。在此，我衷心感谢前任领袖们的无私奉献，你们的热情与专业为我们树立了典范。

 

Standing on the shoulders of giants, our new team will not only strengthen the vitality of existing clubs but also actively expand new ones, ensuring more people can find confidence and belonging through Toastmasters.

 

站在巨人的肩膀上，新一届团队不仅要巩固现有分会的活力，更将积极拓展新分会，让更多人有机会透过Toastmasters找到自信与归属。

 

The success of District 89 has always been built by every member —not just a few. Whether you’re a seasoned Toastmaster or a new member, your voice matters. I warmly invite you to:

 

89大区的成就，从来不是少数人的功劳，而是每一位会员的点滴累积。无论您是资深会员或刚加入的新朋友，您的声音都至关重要。我诚挚邀请大家：

 

✔ Step forward —Take on club or district roles, embrace speech contests, or share your story.

主动参与：只要有机会，积极担任分会或大区的角色、参加比赛，或分享您的故事；

 

✔ Speak up —Share your ideas with the District team.

开放对话：只要有想法，可随时向大区干事们提出建议；

 

✔ Celebrate diversity —Respect members of all cultures and backgrounds

拥抱多元：尊重不同文化与背景的伙伴。
