Honoring Kitty Wong, DTM
A True Toastmasters Legend and Beloved Friend

It is with heavy hearts that we remember Kitty Wong, who sadly passed away on 29 July , 2026.
Kitty was a dedicated member of the Toastmasters community and a cherished friend to many. Kitty was a remarkable woman known for her kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others. Since joining Toastmasters in 2000, she inspired countless members through her dedication, mentorship, and leadership. Kitty didn’t just lead with words but walked the talk —she inspired members through her actions.
Her workshops (both inside and outside of Toastmasters) had enlightened and strengthened
various communities, empowering others to grow, speak with confidence, and pursue excellence.
Beyond her steadfast support of her home club, Dynamic Toastmasters Club, she served as the Area Governor in District 85 (the predecessor of District 89). She was also awarded Distinguished Toastmaster in 2012 through her sheer dedication and passion for the Toastmasters community.
Throughout her speech contest journey, she was a multi-time winner in Table Topics, Evaluation, and International Speech contests. Her highest achievement was being crowned the District 89 International Speech Champion in 2015 at the District 89 Hong Kong Spring Conference 2015 held at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She proudly represented District 89 as a semi-finalist in the World Championship of Public Speaking in 2015, where she brought District 89 fame in the international arena.
Her generous and gracious donation to the 2027 District 89 Hong Kong Conference was yet another reflection of her selfless act, enduring belief in service, and her deep love for Toastmasters. Kitty’s kindness, wisdom, and legacy will forever continue to guide and inspire us in many more futures ahead.
Thank you, Kitty, for everything you gave to us: your leadership, your service, your encouragement, your dedication, your kindness, and most importantly, your love. You will be deeply missed, and may your spirit continue to inspire us.

我們懷著沉痛的心情緬懷會友Kitty Wong。她於2026年7 月29 日不幸 離世。 Kitty 是Toastmasters International 國 際演講會的忠實成員，也是許多人珍 惜的摯友。她是一位傑出的女性，以 善良、慷慨和樂於助人而聞名。自 2000 年加入演講會以來，她憑着奉 獻精神、導師風範與領導力，啟發了 無數會友。 Kitty 不僅言行一致，更 以實際行動激勵眾多會友。她舉辦的 工作坊，不論演講會內和或以外， 均啟發並增強了我們的社群，幫助他 人成長、作自信演講、追求卓越。
除了支持她所屬分會Dynamic Toastmasters Club，她也曾擔任85 大 區（89 大區前身）的小區總監，更 於2012 年榮獲傑出演講員（Distinguished Toastmasters, DTM）稱號。
Kitty 多次在即興演講、評論和國際 演講比賽中獲獎。 2015年，她在香 港理工大學舉行的春季高峰會上奪得 「89大區國際演講比賽冠軍」並榮獲資格代表89 大區參加世界公開演講比賽。
她向2027 年89大區香港峰會的慷慨 捐贈，再次體現了她對服務他人的執 著和對演講會的深厚熱愛。 Kitty 的 善良、智慧和精神將永遠指引和激勵 我們。Kitty，謝謝你所付出的一切：你的領導力、你的務、你的鼓勵和你的善良。我們將深深懷念你，你的精神 將繼續激勵我們。
