District 89 is holding our Second Training Contest!
89大区第二届培训比赛！
We aim to provide a platform for District 89 members to showcase their talents, identify and nurture exceptional training professionals, and build a talent pipeline for the District.
我们的目标是为89大区会员提供展示自我的平台，挖掘并培养优质领导力课程培训人才，为大区人才库储备力量。
The finals will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 19:00-22:30 (Zoom Meeting Room).
决赛将于2026年2月7日周六19:00-22:30（Zoom会议室）举行。

Becky Leong is a seasoned financial professional with over 20 years of experience in major financial institutions. Within Toastmasters, she currently serves as Area K1 Director and is the recipient of the District 89 Best Speaker Award in 2025. She successfully chartered a new community Toastmasters club in September 2026, recruiting 26 members in a short timeframe. Becky is the Founding President of the Financial Professionals Toastmasters Club and President of ALE HK Toastmasters Club.

His recent major achievement was winning 2nd place at the Shenzhen City English Competition sponsored by the Foreign Affairs office in 2025.
David Yung 深耕国际演讲会十余年，曾在一家世界 500 强企业创办企业国际演讲会。其深耕 STEM 领域的职业履历扎实，且拥有丰富的双语培训经验，常年开展技术工作坊与职业发展类活动。2025 年，他斩获由外事办公室主办的深圳市英语演讲比赛亚军。
In his TM career, he has served in multiple Clubs and District officer roles, led several TLI/COT education sessions, participated in multiple Districts conferences globally, and competed up to the District level contests. He joined District 89 by co-founding the Speakers and Beyond TM club in Hong Kong after participating the Zhongshan Conference in 2025.

She began her Toastmasters journey in March 2019, taking on various leadership roles including contributing to a Select Distinguished Area. She was also invited to serve as a contest test speaker at District 75 Conference. In the past two terms, she has contributed to district-level events and campaigns in Singapore District 80 Club Growth Council, including Club Angel, a pilot initiative that encouraged members to support struggling clubs with their chapter meetings.
