Basic Training for Toastmasters

It features a 1956 version of Toastmasters content that was first introduced by founder Ralph C. Smedley in 1943. See how the essential building blocks of what you’re learning today have remained remarkably consistent for decades.

The Communication Series: Entertaining Speaker + Storytelling

It includes the Competent Communication manual and projects from two past advanced manuals: The Entertaining Speaker and Storytelling. Continue to grow in the fundamentals of public speaking and learn to captivate your audience with this content from the 1990s.

Vintage paths offer the same DCP credit as all other paths. Each vintage path is organized into the five levels you’re familiar with in other Pathways paths. Completing each level can help clubs achieve DCP goals.

​

III. PATH PRICE & PURCHASE

​

The current price of a Path is USD20@ and it will be increased to USD35 with effect from 1st July 2026.

All members will still receive the first Path free.

​

The Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award represents the highest level of educational achievement in Toastmasters. To earn the DTM, one of the requirements is to complete 2 Paths of the Pathways Speech projects.
