The first District Council Meeting of District 89 2025-2026 (hereinafter referred to as the "Council Meeting) will be held on 20 September 2025 from 20:00-23:00. We sincerely invite you to participate in this online Council Meeting.

 

89大区2025-2026年度第一次大区理事会会议（下称[理事会会议]）将于2025年9月20日20:00-23:00举行。我们诚挚邀请您参加本次理事会线上会议。

1. What is the District Council?

什么是大区理事会？

 

The District Council—which includes District Executive Committee members and the representatives from each Member Club, namely the Club President and/or Vice President Education—serves as the administrative governing body of the District, operating with powers delegated to the District Council by the Board of Directors of Toastmasters International.

 

大区理事会由大区执行委员会成员以及各会员俱乐部的代表（即俱乐部会长和/或教育副会长）组成，是大区的行政管理机构，依据国际演讲会董事会授予的权限开展工作。

 

The District Council holds at least two regular meetings during the program year. The first required meeting occurs as soon as practical after the Toastmasters International Annual Business Meeting, but no later than September 30. Another required meeting is held between March 15 and June 1.

 

大区理事会每年至少举行两次定期会议。第一次必要的会议应在国际演讲会年度业务会议之后尽早举行，但不得迟于9月30日。另一场必要的会议则在3月15日至6月1日期间举行。

4. How to join the online Council meeting?

怎样参加理事会线上会议？

 

Council members are required to register for the meeting in advance in order to receive the voting link. Non-Council members may attend the meeting but are not permitted to vote or speak. 

 

大区理事会成员需要提前进行参会登记以取得投票链接。非大区理事会的会员可以参加会议，但不得参与投票和发言。
