The Hong Kong Speech Fiesta held on Saturday, 11 October 2025, was an unforgettable celebration of public speaking and personal growth.

于2025 年10月11日（星期六）举行的香港演讲嘉年华是一场令人难忘的公开演讲与个人成长盛典。

The event buzzed with energy, captivating an enthusiastic audience of about 100 people, who cheered on the speakers with colourful balloons in hand.

活动充满活力，吸引了近100名热情观众，他们手持色彩繽紛加油气球，为讲者们热烈欢呼。

Our talented finalists delivered powerful speeches from various Pathways, the Toastmasters education program.

杰出的决选选手们根据国际演讲会的 Pathways (学习路径)教育计划，带来了一篇又一篇的精彩演说。

Each speaker showcased their unique flair and masterful speaking skills, conveying inspirational and motivational messages that resonated deeply with the crowd.

每位讲者均展现了独特的风格与精练的演讲技巧，传递出激励人心、引发共鸣的深刻信息。

A panel of stellar commentators elevated the event further, providing insightful evaluations and invaluable tips to help the finalists refine their craft.

星级评论团的专业評赏反饋更将活动价值推向新高，他们提供富有洞察力的评估与宝贵建议，协助选手精进技巧，也让在场观众获益良多，共同学习成长。

The climax of the afternoon was a drumroll moment as the audience casted their votes for the Pathways Best Speaker. We are thrilled to witness the crowning process of the Pathways Best Speaker :

当日下午的高潮，是观众投票选出Pathways最佳演讲者的紧张时刻。我们欣喜见证89大区的首届Pathways最佳演讲者的加冕过程 :

Becky showcased her winning speech of “15,000 feet”, a Level 2 speech of Project “Effective Body Language” under the Path “Presentation Mastery”.

Becky 展示了她的获奖演讲《15000尺》，这是「精通演讲」路径下「有效的身体语言」项目二级演讲。

She shared her sky-diving experience with her 6- years- old son, encouraging us to take a bold step by “the best thing is waiting outside the comfort zone’.

她分享了自己与六岁儿子一起高空跳伞的经历，并鼓励大家勇敢迈出一步 -「最好的事物往往在舒适区之外」(the best thing is waiting outside the comfort zone ) 。

It made our day inspiring and memorable with food for thoughts and action.

她的演讲让大家都被鼓动及感到难忘，为大家带来一些值得思考和付诸行动的思维。

Sylvia showcased her trumping speech 《选择》, a Level 1 speech of Project “Writing a Speech with Purpose” under the Path “Presentation Mastery”.

曾佩莹的获奖演讲是《选择》。这是「精通演讲」路径下「撰写有目的的演讲」项目一级演讲。

She shared her personal growth story of struggle between professional development and family ties. Her emotion attachment with her father was vividly presented with sincerity.

她分享自己的人生经历，讲述了如何在职业发展和家庭责任之间挣扎。她用真挚的情感生动地展现了自己与父亲之间深厚的感情。

She captured the heart of the audience with her winning words “Choose your Love, Love your Choice" (选你所爱、爱你所选).她用一句「选你所爱、爱你所选」，俘获了观众的心。

It was wonderful to witness the energy and camaraderie the audience rallied behind our fellow Toastmasters.

The passion and enthusiasm not only uplifted the Finalists but also showcased the spirit of our District 89 Toastmasters community. It’s this kind of support that made the Fiesta so valuable and memorable.
